Spartan secures two significant new projects with a major international client.
Specialist barcode and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) solutions company, Spartan Solutions Ltd., has secured two significant new projects with a major international client.
As a result, Spartan is looking to recruit three to four Software Engineers to join their team in central Glasgow over the coming 12 months.
Spartan, founded in 2004, provides powerful software solutions that integrate barcode, RFID, mobile and back-office technologies into their Phalanx software solution, which is specifically designed to remove error, delay and cost from company operations.
Spartan’s existing clients include FTSE100 temporary power specialist Aggreko plc, Swire Oilfield Services Ltd, Aker Solutions Well Service AS and Sprit AeroSystems (Europe) Ltd.
Jim Green, Spartan’s Managing Director, commented “These major new projects are strategic to our customer’s operations and were awarded as a direct result of our reputation for software development and delivery. They will further raise our visibility in the oil and gas market and lead directly to additional new jobs.”
