Multi-Frequency RFID
A wide variety of equipment types in the oil and gas industry can be RFID or barcode tagged.
For example, fixed equipment, mobile equipment, downhole tools, containerised transport and consumable stock.
RFID tags fall into three categories:
- Low Frequency (LF)
- High Frequency (HF)
- Ultra High Frequency
Tags operate in one of two basic modes, passive and active (battery powered).
