With PHALANX, operations staff can process received goods using a handheld mobile device, thus avoiding the need to create paperwork or waste time travelling to a deskbound PC to key in data.

The mobile device is equipped with a reader that scans barcodes included with the delivery paperwork. PHALANX uses this to display the expected delivery contents and prompts the operator to confirm arrival of each item or mark any issues such as damage or missing items.

As a result, goods become available earlier and integration to back office systems ensures that any goods receipt issues are immediately notified and dealt with accordingly.
